Naughty Dog Uses New Twitter Feature to Bury ‘The Last of Us Part II’ Spoilers on Twitter

The folks at Naughty Dog are doing everything in their power to keep trolls from barking out spoilers for The Last of Us Part II before it releases. Today, the company sent out a tweet that looks like any other tweet at first glance… but something is missing:

You could try all you want to reply to their tweet with some spoilers like a dirty dog, but the “comment” bubble is grayed out and the following caption sits below the tweet: “A conversation between @Naughty_Dog and people they mentioned in this Tweet.”

Kotaku reports that Twitter announced this new feature earlier in 2020 and they began rolling it out to select members yesterday. The feature should help keep a lid on some spoilers as the last of the promotional materials for the game continue to make their way onto Naughty Dog’s Twitter page.

The Last of Us Part II will debut on Sony’s Playstation 4 on June 19th, 2020. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for complete coverage of this popular title as soon as it breaks!
