Michael Cuesta Attached to Direct ‘Frankenstein’ Pilot

Michael Cuesta is directing Fox’s ‘Frankenstein’ pilot. Rand Ravich is writing and executive producing the upcoming sci-fi drama. Howard Gordon, whom Cuesta worked with on ‘Homeland’ is also attched to executive produce. ‘Frankenstein’ is inspired by the original Mary Shelly story, however takes a more grounded approach to the subject matter. The story takes place present day, and follows a corrupt retired police officer named Ray Pritchard, who dies and resurrected younger and stronger, and must choose between a better life or fall back into his old ways. Cuesta has also directed pilots for ‘Dexter’, ‘Blue Bloods’ and ‘Elementary’.
