Lance Gross & Zach Appelman To Become Series Regulars on ‘Sleepy Hollow’

The Hollywood Reporter learned today that Lance Gross and Zach Appelman have been promoted to series regulars on Fox’s ‘Sleepy Hollow’.  Gross will join the series in a recurring role as Daniel Reynolds, the new FBI agent in charge and Abbie’s new boss.  Appelman appeared briefly in season two as Joe Corbin, son of August Corbin (Clancy Brown), who was cursed as a Wendigo.  He will be joining forces with Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) to research his father’s work for Crane & Abbie’s mission.

Showrunner Clifton Cambell said “Lance and Zach are both very talented and welcome additions to our Sleepy cast. There are rich stories to be told with these characters and we believe that fans will embrace these new — and quite mysterious — developments in the Sleepy Hollow world.”

The show continues it’s retool for season three, under new showrunner Campbell, who is creatively rebooting the show.  ‘Sleepy Hollow’ returns Thursday, October 1 at 9 p.m., in it’s new time slot.
