Jordan Peele’s Next Social Thriller to Hit Theaters in 2019

Jordan Peele has been a busy guy since the tremendous success of his first film, Get Out. When we reported on his producer role in the upcoming HBO series, Lovecraft Country, we noted that Peele would also be writing and directing more thriller/horror works in the near future. Today, Variety reports that Jordan Peele’s next social thriller movie will debut in theaters on March 15th, 2019.

At this time, a title and/or synopsis of the film has not yet been released. However, we do know that Peele will be working on the film as a producer, writer and director; and that the movie is being described as a social thriller. Given all of those facts, fans can expect some of the same signature dread and social commentary that made Get Out such a memorable and interesting film.

It’s no coincidence that this news is being announced on the same day that Get Out hits home video formats nationwide. Fans are clearly eager for more horror work from Peele, and Universal is happy to oblige! Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more details on this exciting project as they break!
