Jeff Nichols To Write And Direct Third Installment Of ‘A Quiet Place’

As horror fans await the sequel to 2018’s box office hit A Quiet Place, which has been pushed to an April 2021 release due to the COVID -19 crisis, it was announced today that there will be a third film which will be written and directed by Jeff Nichols.  Deadline reports that Paramount pictures is targeting a 2022 release date for the upcoming film based on the original John Kraskinski film. The original A Quiet Place, starring Kraskinski and Emily Blunt has grossed over $340 million to date worldwide. Kraskinski is also on board to produce along with Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller for Platinum Dunes.

There are no details or working title for the upcoming project yet. Horror fans can only speculate what new stories and/or characters will be introduced into the post-apocalyptic world where the only way to stay alive is to be quiet. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for updates on A Quiet Place.
