Jamie Lee Curtis to Direct an Episode of Scream Queens

Jamie Lee Curtis is set to direct an episode of FOX’s Scream Queens in October.  In conjunction with producer Ryan Murphy’s Half Foundation, the Queen Bee herself will helm episode 8 of season 2.  The Half Foundation was founded by Murphy to create opportunities in the entertainment industry for women, people of color and members of the LGBT community.  While this is not Curtis’s first time in the director’s chair, it will mark her debut effort in the horror genre.  This season Curtis will also be returning to some familiar horror stopping grounds.  Similar to the film Halloween II (where she reprised her role of Laurie Strode) season 2 of Scream Queens is set in a hospital.  The episode is scheduled to shoot in early October with an air date sometime in November.  Scream Queens can be seen on FOX, Tuesday nights at 9 PM (EST).
