IFC Midnight Picks Up ‘Stung’

IFC Midnight has picked up the U.S. rights to ‘Stung’, which appeared at the Tribeca Film Festival in the Midnight section.  Adam Aresty scriped the Benni Diez directed film which stars Matt O’Leary, Jessica Cook, Clifton Collins Jr. and Lance Henriksen.  The story centers around the giant killer wasp attack of a garden party at a remote country villa.  Germany based Rat Pack Film Production’s Christian Becker and Benjamin Munz produced the film. XYZ Films’ Todd Brown, Nick Spicer, Aram Tertzakian and Nate Bolotin executive produced.  Nick Bolotin, on behalf of the filmmakers, and Sean Berney, IFC Midnight’s manager of acquisitions, negotiated the deal.
