IFC Midnight Acquires THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE

IFC Midnight has picked up the U.S. rights to The Autopsy of Jane Doe, directed by Andre Ovredal (Troll Hunter). It is his first English-language film.   Emile Hirsch stars in the film from IM Global. The story centers around a father and son coroner team who are sent  a Jane Doe, who is the victim of a mysterious homicide.  As they try to identify her, they find increasingly bizarre clues to her terrifying secrets.

The film, which also stars Brian Cox and Ophelia Lovibond, was written by Ian B. Goldberg.   Fred Berger, Eric Garcia, Ben Pugh and Rory Aitken of 42 are producing, while IM Global’s Stuart Ford, Matt Jackson and Steven Squillante are executive producing.  

The script for Jane Doe was on the 2013 Black list. It was also No.1 on the annual Bloodlist.
