Hulu Premieres Two New Horror Series in October: ‘Into the Dark’ and ‘Light as a Feather’

Hulu is gearing up to give horror fans what they want this October with two new series debuts: Into the Dark and Light as a Feather.

Hulu will start the month with the Blumhouse-produced 12-part anthology series Into the Dark on October 5, and a new episode will air each month for the entire year.  Each episode will feature a stand-alone story, and will not connect to each other (you know, how anthologies are supposed to work.  Yes I’m looking in your direction Ryan Murphy).

Hulu’s other new horror series Light As a Feather will debut on October 12. The program was “Created and executive produced by R. Lee Fleming Jr.,  (and) the show explores what happens when five girls playing a game of Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board start dying off, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted — and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own.”

Light as a Feather is an adaptation of the Zoe Aarsen story Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board which was originally published on Wattpad, an online  site where authors produce their own content.

Light as a Feather stars Liana Liberato, Haley Ramm, Ajiona Alexus, Brianne Tju and Peyton List. All episodes for the series will be released on the premiere date.

Stay tuned for more updates on fall debuts, including our annual Fall Horror Movie Preview, out in early September!
