Hudson Horror Show XIII

Twice a year, staffer Sean McLaughlin and I make the trip down to Poughkeepsie, NY for the best darn horror/sci-fi/exploitation film festival there is. At Hudson Horror Show, Sean and I have gotten to see some awesome films on the big screen. From The Warriors to Creepshow to Re-Animator to Lady Terminator, the folks at Hudson Horror always bring the films that you never thought you’d see in a theater and the films that you just never thought you’d see at all; all from 35mm film!!!

On May 14th, Hudson Horror returns with a stacked lineup for their 13th show. One of my all-time favorites Nightbreed is on the bill alongside Jaws 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street, the almighty Dolemite and two mystery movies. Between the films, they always show some awesome vintage trailers as well. The fun generally starts at 11:30am and ends at around midnight. You’ll want to be sure to arrive earlier though as they have a bunch of killer vendors to shop.

If you’ve never been to Hudson Horror, you’re in luck as there are still some tickets available. The show has gotten so big that they recently had to expand it into two theaters; one is sold out and the other has some tickets still remaining so head on over to their website by clicking here and purchase your tickets now!

Be sure to be on the lookout for Sean and myself as we’ll be handing out flyers for the best damned horror convention around; CT HorrorFest  taking place in Danbury, CT on August 27th! (Tickets available now!)
