Horror News Network’s Comic Awards 2019: Best Mini-Series

Horror News Network would like to congratulate Cullen Bunn, Brian Hurtt, Tyler Crook on their win for Best Mini-series of the Year: the atmospheric haunted house tale, Manor Black.

Dark Horse Comics Manor Black has been described as equal parts Poe, Lovecraft, and Hammer Horror in a rural setting, akin to the work of the creative team in other well-regarded series such as The Sixth Gun and Harrow County.   The frequent collaborations between the creators is evident in the quality of the work, and the mini-series has garnered much praise from the comics community for its scripting and visual storytelling techniques.

For those who missed the mini-series over the summer, Manor Black will be released as a collected edition in March.
