Geena Davis Joins ‘The Exorcist’ Series

It looks like The Exorcist just got a whole lot sexier! Deadline has a report that Geena Davis in Fox’s pilot inspired by William Blatty’s 1971 book.

Davis is slated to play Angela Rance, a woman who does all she can to stay positive even though her family is struggling. She wonders if these strange nightmares of demons could be a shocking sign of what’s going wrong.

Jeremy Slater (Fantastic Four), is writing the series which is described as a modern reinvention of the book, previously adapted into William Friedkin’s classic horror movie.
