Says the sequel will be like “pushing the reset button” on the franchise
– As you might expect from the success of Avatar, Ghost Rider 2 might be done in 3D

They need to hit the reset button on GR. The Cage film just did not do the character justice.

If Marvel is smart they will bring Sam Elliott back as the Caretaker. He did a great part with the role and as a mentor to a new Spirit of Vengeance he can not only explain the character's origins to Johnny Blaze, but also to new viewers in the audience. They could even keep the bit about Elliott being a previous Spirit of Vengeance, but I swear if they do another lame ride across the desert just to have him ride off because he used the remainder of his power I will walk out of the theatre.
