The shocking conclusion of the FrankenCastle era! After his brutal struggle to kill Daken in Tokyo, the Punisher is in rough shape. In order to restore his health, hacker comrade Henry Russo sends Frank to the nearest remote place he can find -- Monster Island. However, as his body heals, Frank's mind begins to fade into madness. Someone needs to take him down. Someone named Elsa Bloodstone.

I've loved Dan Brereton's artwork since I first saw it in Giantkiller and The Nocturnals. He has a very distinctive style, and I am looking forward to this issue. I've really enjoyed the "Franken-Castle" story arc in Punisher, it's a shame it's almost over, with no idea when or where we might see the Legion of Monsters again. I wish the market could support an ongoing monster book, instead of getting one or two books around Halloween each year. That being said, I am looking forward to this year's one-shot (Tomb of Terror, I think it's called) - Werewolf by Night, Son of Satan, and Man-Thing, it's like one-stop shopping for all of my monster needs!

Looking forward to this..ELSA! Too bad its the crappy Nextwave Elsa, though. Marvel seems to have forgotten about the hot "Buffyesque" Elsa from the mini. Sad
Sad to see Franken-Castle come to an end, but it was fun while it lasted..
