Slash is following in line with Alice Cooper, Dee Snider and Rob Zombie by calling a piece of the horror pie all his own.

The guitarist has joined forces with Scout Productions to start the outfit Slasher Films.

Their first film, Nothing to Fear, is based on a script by Jonathan W.C. Mills and will go into production early next year. Scout Productions previously produced Transsiberian and Session 9.
