Notice anything new on the site? Right up there on the far right is the new podcast button! The Big Bad Wolf and myself sat down to chat about some horror history and it kinda rolled into Zombie titles. So take a listen and join in on the conversation. What Zombie titles are you loving or hating?

Nice! Love podcasts.

Let me see if my IT Nazis will let me download it here at work so I can listen while I work. Some podcasts I can, others are blocked. Hopefully I can listen here.

We've had 39 downloads so far! Yet no ones talking!

So I'll start it off. Like I mentioned in the podcast I LOVE Deadworld. I think it is the best zombie book. I like how it melds into two different perspectives. One the one hand we have humans doing what they can to survive and then on the other we have the actual voice of zombies trying to take over the world. So were not fed the same old bumbling zombie lines over and over.

as of last bit over a year I have become avid listener of podcasts.
Very good and laid back in positive sense.
I dont agree with all your views and to note about what you said about aiming manga and alike at females....well that is solely smart.

After all horror is a female friendly genre. The final girls win, women get to be strong and not just damsels in distress and while not all females(readers) arent as profilic to sound their opinions I am willing to wager largish sum of money on that there are far more female horror fans in comicreading population than fans of superheroes.

podcasts about visual art such as comics is a tough one to pull but it worked.

I might have missed something but neither of you mentioned dark horse's Zombieworld or frissons and Davis's Zombies that ate the world.

Your right! We also missed out on the great Zombies! books. See too many to cover as it is such huge genre to cover! Maybe the next podcast will have to be Zombie Books Part 2!!!

I mean we didn't touch on all the mini series like We Will Bury You, Last Resort and Xombie. I mean the list can go on and on. Hell we even forgot to cover Simon Garth! LOL

I just happens when you get rolling with the conversation. So Curt what would you say is you ALL TIME favorite zombie title?

Great first podcast guys and not just cause LC got a mention! I finally got to listen to it and I'll def be listening to new ones as they go up.

I really dug the chemistry that Rob and Dan have as they really get into the pros and cons of the different zombie books. Both of these guys have a great love for these kinds of books and I like that you guys don't agree on everything--- makes the discussion a lot more interesting.

I've heard good things about Crossed but after listening to this I really need to check it out.

Can't wait for the next one guys!!

Even on dial-up it should still stream, you dont have to download it. If you just click on the link it should load in that window. Just a thought is all

For everyone else, even if you haven't listened to the Podcast, we basically talked Zombie titles.

Some of my favorites being Deadworld, Crossed and 28 Days Later.

So how about you? What are your favorite zombie titles?
