Freddy Krueger Being Added to ‘Dead by Daylight’

Yesterday, Behaviour Interactive and Starbreeze Studios released the trailer for an upcoming chapter of Dead by Daylight called “Don’t Fall Asleep.” While the trailer does not show Freddy himself, rumors have been circulating around the internet.  The speculation is that some data was leaked and certain sound effects surfaced that would indicate that the iconic 80’s slasher would be appearing. One sound effect even has a child humming the “One, Two, Freddy’s Coming For You” song.

Released in 2016 strictly for the PC, Dead by Daylight was eventually released for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June 2017.  Last year the game made headlines for adding a Halloween chapter. Not only was Michael Myers front and center in the game, but it also featured the town of Haddonfield and Laurie Strode.  Earlier this year, the developers added The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s iconic Leatherface in a chapter complete with the chainsaw wielding maniac, meat hooks and more.

Keep it locked to Horror News Network as we will report more news on the Freddy Dead by Daylight DLC as it becomes available.
