Five Ghosts: The Haunting of Fabian Gray #1 Review

As soon as I saw the concept of this book I thought that this could be an interesting read. Yes, it did have someone who can use the abilities of a vampire but whether or not it leaned more towards horror would be another issue.

Issue one opens with a bang and we are quickly introduced to treasure hunter, Fabian Gray. He is storming a castle using five interesting power sets: wizard, archer, detective, samurai and a vampire to capture a jewel. With ease Fabian locates his target and escapes with what he set out for.

This is where the cool part comes in. We soon learn that Fabian just isn’t using the power sets mentioned above, he is actually possessed by five ghosts (wizard, archer, detective, samurai and a vampire).

Later on in a meeting with his friend Sebastian we learn that this possession is starting to take control of his body. Shortly thereafter Fabian and Sebastian embark on a new adventure that quickly goes wrong. The duo are taken captive and being brought to the Spider-God!

A cool story and quality art in issue one lands Five Ghosts: The Haunting of Fabian Gray directly on my pull list!
