Final Trailer for ‘BrightBurn’ Promises Super Scares

The final trailer for Brightburn (the highly anticipate horror film from directed David Yarovesky (The Hive) and producer James Gunn) looks to capture the attention of any last horror fans unfamiliar with the “super-powered-creepy-kid-on-the-loose” story.

As described in Horror News Network’s Spring 2019 Movie Preview, “The obvious horror take on the Superman mythos (starring Elizabeth Banks and David Denman) is surprising for the very fact that no one has attempted to tell this version of the well-known story until now.  Due to everyone’s familiarity with the tale of the orphan from Krypton’s upbringing, it seems like the right time to craft a more frightening version of the story (especially at a time when Superman can’t even sustain his own film franchise). The concept is an easy one to communicate and the trailers have generated a lot of good press and an increased interest from both horror and superhero fans.”

The film is written by Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn and stars Elizabeth Banks, Jackson A. Dunn, David Denman, Gregory Allen Williams, Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner, and Steve Agee.
