Final Bye Bye Man Trailer Released

The final trailer for The Bye Bye Man was released today.  The film is due to be released on Friday January 13th, 2017.

The film is directed by Stacy Title, who last stepped behind the camera for 2006’s Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror.

The Bye Bye Man stars Douglas Smith, best known for his role as Gary (Xavier) in the short-lived HBO series Vinyl.  Fans of Vinyl will remember Smith as the lounge singer who is “discovered” by Ray Romano’s Zak Yankovich while singing a version of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars”.

The film’s eclectic cast also consists of Carrie-Anne Moss as a police detective, Faye Dunaway as Widow Redmond, and famed creature actor Doug Jones as the aforementioned Bye Bye Man.

The tag-line to the film is “Don’t think it.  Don’t say it.”  There is no truth to the rumor that the supernatural monster is summoned by using 90’s hair band Firehouse’s famous song “All She Wrote” which features the chorus “Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye” (so feel free to continue thinking of that song without fear of possession).
