DVD & Blu-ray Releases: August 19, 2014

We don’t have too shabby of a haul to report for you this week, fiends.  This week sees the Blu-ray and DVD release of TI West’s newest offering The Sacrament, the newly adapted TV series version of Rosemary’s Baby, the release of The Quiet Ones, as well as the Blu-ray release of 1989’s Leviathan.  Altogether, there are 12 movies, 1 television series and 4 collections for you to drool over at your local store.  Pleasant viewing, folks.

Croc (2007)

Synopsis:

In coastal Thailand, tourists love exotic animal shows. The authorities immediately blame the attacks on one of Jack’s creatures, though he knows that can’t be the case. Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Ten strangers with secrets are brought together in a savage rainstorm: A limo driver (John Cusack), an ’80’s TV star (Rebecca DeMornay), a cop (Ray Liotta) who is transporting a killer (Jake Busey), a call girl (Amanda Peet), a pair of newlyweds (Clea DuVall and William Lee Scott) and a family in crisis (John C. McGinley, Leila Kenzle, Bret Loehr), all take shelter at a desolate motel run by a nervous night manager (John Hawkes). 20 Million Miles To Earth

It Came From Beneath The Sea
In Ray Harryhausen’s vintage sci-fi thriller, a giant, radioactive octopus makes the deadly mistake of attacking Navy Captain Pete Mathews’ (Kenneth Tobey) submarine, prompting the bold commander to pursue the monstrous beast across the Pacific Ocean before it attacks anyone else.
