‘Death House’ Slated for April VOD Release

The last work of the legendary Gunnar Hansen will soon be available for all to see. Before he left us in 2015, Gunnar wrote the script for the film Death House with the intentions of featuring as many legends of the horror genre as possible.

After the gentle giant’s passing, the script was punched up by Harrison Smith (Camp Dread) who also took over directing duties. When it comes to Gunnar’s wish to cast as many horror legends as possible, it’s safe to say that they went all out. The short list is Adrienne Barbeau, Sid Haig, Kane Hodder, Vernon Wells, Tony Todd, Felissa Rose, Michael Berryman, Dee Wallace, Bill Moseley, Barbara Crampton and more…seriously.

The film has already played at a few festivals around the country and is set to hit theaters in a few markets in March but the majority of us will have to wait for Death House to hit VOD, Netflix and Redbox in April ahead of its June 5th release to DVD.

Check out the trailer below and keep it locked to Horror News Network for more on Death House as it becomes available.
