Crackle Announces Premiere of ‘The Clearing’

In a press release that was issued today, Crackle Plus announced the premiere of their original zombie flick The Clearing on June 4th. The film stars Liam McIntyre, Aundrea Smith, Sydelle Noel and Steven Swadling.

The movie centers around a father and daughter camping trip that quickly turns into a nightmare as a grim apocalyptic situation unfolds around them.

Making his directorial debut with this film, writer-director David Matalon strived to pay homage to his beloved influences while adding his own style to the zombie genre. “I couldn’t be more excited for The Clearing to have its premiere on Crackle and I’m grateful for their passion and enthusiasm for our movie,” said Matalon. “I’m thrilled to take viewers on this action-packed ride.”

Crackle Plus President Philippe Guelton went on to say “This film will deliver an action-packed distraction that our fans are craving right now.”
