Frozen Giant, an independent iPhone game development studio today announced the launch of Tucker Ray In: Rednecks vs. Zombies, available for $1.99 in the App Store. An action-packed romp through the namesake character’s undead-infested trailer park, this comical dual-stick shooter follows loveable redneck Tucker Ray as he tries his dardnest to rescue his sweetheart Bobby Sue from the undead horde (armed only with a shotgun…and unlimited ammo…and occasionally an exploding squirrel launcher).

Bright Falls Live-Action Film Prequel to Alan Wake

Turn down the lights but keep your flashlight and batteries handy, as Xbox 360 unveils “Bright Falls,” a six-part live action series that serves as a thrilling prequel to the mystery unfolding in “Alan Wake.” Each episode will bring you to the edge of your seat and spur your curiosity with the same eerie and suspenseful cliffhangers as in the game. TV fans will find that the series evokes the same ghostly chills as “Twin Peaks” did when it premiered 20 years ago this month.

The first two episodes of “Bright Falls” will be available for viewing exclusively on Xbox LIVE April 30 before debuting at BrightFalls.com on May 4. New episodes will then be released on May 8 and May 14, leading up to the shocking conclusion with the final two episodes on May 18.

Rufnex – new action/horror comic book

ALICE COOPER has lent his likeness to the upcoming action/horror comic book, The Rufnex, created by Miguel A. Insignares, the writer and artist of the project. Miguel A. Insignares’ previous credits include the official comic book adaptation for the 2004 film, Dawn Of The Dead.

Synopsis: A group of merciless prisoners agree to a near suicide mission on a remote island in exchange for their freedom. Their mission soon takes a horrific turn as they discover the island is crawling with hordes of ravenous zombies. When the carnage begins, they must overcome their differences if they are to escape from the island of the dead.

Left 4 Dead 2 The Passing available today

Left 4 Dead 2 the passing

The first game add-on for Left 4 Dead 2 brings the original Left 4 Dead (L4D1) Survivors down south for a meeting with the L4D2 cast, while delivering new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay for the PC and Xbox 360.

The Passing also introduces a series of weekly game mode events dubbed “Mutations.” These week-long runs of new gameplay modes range from “Realism Versus” mode to “Chainsaw Massacre,” which gives all players chainsaws with an unlimited supply of gasoline. There are over 20 Mutations planned, each playable on all L4D2 Campaigns. Mutations are exclusively available to owners of “The Passing” DLC.
