Official Trailer Arrives for ‘The Banana Splits Movie’

The beloved Banana Splits crew of Bingo, Fleegle, Snorky, and Drooper are set to make a return like you have never seen them before. Directed by Danishka Esterhazy of Level 16 fame, this reimagining of the Hanna-Barbera classic takes the classic series and adds a heaping amount of horror.

Here’s the films official synopsis:
A boy named Harley and his family (brother Austin, mother Beth, and father Mitch) attends a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley and business as usual for Rebecca, the producer of the series. But things take an unexpected turn — and the body count quickly rises. Can Harley, his mom and their new pals safely escape?

Written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, the film stars Dani Kind, Finlay Wojtak-Hissong, Romero Carere and Steve Lund. The Banana Splits Movie is set to debut on SyFy later this year and will be available digitally August 13th with release on Blu-ray/DVD coming August 27th.
