AMC Unveils a First Look at ‘The Terror: Infamy’

AMC has just released a five minute long featurette for the second season of The Terror, subtitled Infamy.

The clip showcases many of the writers, actors, and directors involved with the upcoming AMC program (which will debut on August 12) as they  discuss the inspiration for the new season and the many ways that Infamy is steeped in Japanese culture (particularly, the tradition ghost stories of Japan called kaidan).

Unlike last season, (which was based on a novel by Dan Simmons and the real-life events of the disappearance of the H.M.S. Erebus and H.M.S. Terror in the arctic regions), this season will take place during World War II in a Japanese Internment camp.

The series stars Derek Mio, Kiki Sukezane, Cristina Rodlo, Shingo Usami, Naoko Mori, Miki Ishikawa, and George Takei, among others.

Check out the comprehensive video below and come back for more coverage of The Terror: Infamy over the coming weeks ahead.
