All-Female Horror Anthology ‘XX’ Coming, St. Vincent Joining Directors

 

Singer-songwriter St. Vincent (Annie Clark) is joining the director line up for the upcoming female-led horror anthology film ‘XX.’  She joins directors Karyn Kusama (The Invitation), Jennifer Lynch (Surveillance) and Jovanka Vuckovic for the Magnet Releasing genre picture.   The segment that Clark will direct was cor written and produced by horror vet Roxanne Benjamin (V/H/S films).

Clark said, “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to explore the genre-film medium.”

Magnolia president Eamonn Bowles said, “I’ve long been a fan of Annie’s work. We’re excited to watch the singular vision she’ll bring to this project.”

St. Vincent, Clark’s self-titled album, won a Grammy for best alternative music album in 2015.
