Ten Things You Might Not Know About … Christine!

1. Scott Baio was considered to play Arnie Cunningham and Brooke Shields was considered for Leigh Cabot.

2. Keith Gordon pretended the car was a woman, so wherever he touched the car, he imagined which part of a woman the car was.

3. When Christine hunts down the members of Buddy Repperton’s gang, her windows are blacked out. This is to give Christine a “sinister” appearance, but also to conceal the     stunt driver.

4. Kevin Bacon was offered the lead role but ended up choosing Footloose instead. read more

New Poster Revealed For ‘She Rises’

A new poster has been revealed for “She Rises.”

The movie is described as:
A bickering Hollywood couple get lost while driving back from a location in the badlands of America. They’re making a B horror movie but they once had ambitions for so much more. It has made them bitter and resentful. They bring that energy into the humble abode of Rosebud, a young naif who puts them up for the night. Connor, the actor, turns on the raconteur charm, and convinces her they want to cast her in the movie they are making. Kat, the director, just happens to have a camera and turns it on. What happens next is a descent into the cinematic underworld of their worst imaginings, and back. For Rosebud is not the lamb she seems to be. And these two Hollywood swingers, are not predators, they are prey. And they’d better start praying! read more

Rot & Ruin in September

From IDW Publishing.

This series is set in a world 15 years after the dead have risen and vastly outnumber the survivors of the zombie-apocalypse. In the aftermath, humanity has found a way to live a marginal existence by forming fenced-in towns where everyone has a job to do in order to survive. As in the award-winning novels, the comic series will center on Benny Imura and his friends as they make their way in a world where the zombies aren’t always the greatest danger.

The Rot & Ruin isn’t about how many zombies you can kill or how much gore you can sling around the page,” Mayberry said. “These are stories about real kids making hard choices about their lives. It’s about kids learning how to become powerful in a hard and dangerous world. It’s about finding the value of human life and discovering what it means to be alive. read more

‘ADAM K.’ Interview With Sarah Nicklin

A gory take on the tale of nature versus nurture that proves – evil wears a smile! Mild-mannered and seemingly good-natured auto insurance claims manager Adam K. sets out daily to make friends, however ends up with mutilated victims when his invitations for friendships are rejected.

We caught up with actress, Sarah Nicklin, who plays the role of “Amanda Cole,” to talk about the upcoming horror movie, ADAM K.

Horror News Network: Can you tell us more about the film, ADAM K.?

Sarah Nicklin: Well, the killer in this one is really unique because he is everyone and he’s no one all at the same time. One of the most interesting parts of him is that he could be someone you know. To the people who meet him, he’s just a normal everyday friendly guy, but it’s the battle that he’s fighting between the darkness and the light within him that causes him to tip over the edge and kill people.  read more
