Namco Bandai has told GameSpot that the update to the classic gory side-scrolling action game series will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this Halloween.

Many speculate the game to be the lone assailant, but truth be told: Viva Media and bitComposer have signed a North American publishing deal, making them partners in crime and co-conspirators for the release of the much anticipated horror adventure, Alter Ego. Lock up your doors; no adventure gamer is safe! Carlo Voelker, CEO of Viva Media, commented, “We are happy to work with bitComposer in publishing this macabre adventure game that’ll certainly whet the appetite of adventure fans.
