12 Monkeys has been renewed by Syfy for a 10-episode third season. The series is based on the 1995 film of the same name. It is centered around Cole (Aaron Stanford), who is sent back in time from a terrifying future, to try and prevent it from developing. He joins forces with Dr. Railly (Amanda Schull) in the present day to try and defeat the ancient evil organization known as the Amry of the 12 Monkeys. It also stars Kirk Acevedo, Emily Hampshire, Barbara Sukowa and Todd Stashwick.
AMC has renewed Preacher for a second season, which will be expanded to 13-episodes, set to premiere in 2017. The supernatural series is based on the cult comic book franchise. It follows Jesse Cluster (Dominic Cooper), a Texas preacher, who is possessed by an entity known as Geneisis, which gives him the power to command people to do whatever he wants. Two mysterious angels, Fiore (Tom Brooke) and DeBlanc (Anatol Yusef), become attracted this power, which throws Jesse’s ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga), and the Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), into an insane world, where the characters of Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between are real. It also stars Lucy Griffiths, W. Earl Brown, Derek Wilson and Ian Colletti.
